Start with the Packaging

The box can have your colors, personalized details, and sweet, wedding phrases covering it. It can be exciting to open a small gift, making these favors lots of fun.

Consider the Theme

Most weddings have a theme at heart. You may have a classic style, country chic, rustic woods, modern edge, bright and bubbly, vintage romance, or something else entirely. There are so many options.

Choose the gifts that best go with your theme. This might include items like:

  • Candy that offers a play on words or theme (like Kisses)
  • Items that are inscribed with a favorite quote or verse
  • Themed coasters, bottle openers, or drinking glasses
  • Classic wedding favors, like bells, matchboxes, and candles

Consider the Guests

Knowing your guests can help you choose gifts that offer humor, excitement, or sentiment they will appreciate. There are many gifts that are a little better (or worse) depending on what kind of a crowd is going to fill your tables.

  • Hand sanitizer with custom labels
  • Mini alcoholic drinks with custom labels

With a custom DIY box, you can include the big ask on the inside lid of the box so it’s visible as they open it up.

Wedding Party Gifts

On the wedding day itself, most couples give gifts to the wedding party as a heartfelt thank you. Some of the most popular items are flasks, jewelry, and other personal items. These small gifts can be used to tell your party exactly how much they mean to you. Some couples choose gifts that are helpful on the day of—like gifting the men special dress socks or the women jewelry to match their outfit.

Digital Wedding Favor Boxes

If you aren’t going to have a full in-person event, there are ways to really get your virtual attendees involved. When your guests RSVP for the virtual event, you can send them a box of favors. The custom shipping box or mailer can be designed to match your wedding, both inside and out. Then, fill it with fun things to make their at-home viewing all the more special. This is a great way to have a hybrid wedding, with some of your closest people in person and many more watching from the comfort of their own homes without feeling excluded.

These boxes can be cheaper than paying for each person that attends your wedding—allowing you to rent a smaller space, fewer chairs, and less catering.
